The summer shutdown offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the season so far, while looking ahead to a tantalising set of races in the coming months.
And Logan was happy to share his thoughts on what has been an eventful campaign to date.
It has been an inconsistent year for Sarge, with positive performances in Saudi Arabia, Austria and Monaco punctuating a series of more challenging weekends.
However, there is optimism that the final ten races of 2024 could see an improvement in results.
“I think for me, the car is definitely a step in the right direction,” Logan said, when discussing the performance of Williams’ FW46.
“But honestly, it's relative, right? Everyone has improved, and I think we were hoping to make a bit of a bigger step than we did.
“But we have an upgrade coming after the break, which could potentially kick us into the right direction.”
The closing stages of the season will see Sarge return to the US for two races on home soil — the United States Grand Prix in October and a trip to Las Vegas the following month.
That will be music to the ears of LS2, who picked out Williams’ previous stateside sojourn as a highlight of 2024.
“I think [my favourite moment of the season] was just racing at home [in Miami], he revealed.
“It was a fun weekend and nice to actually stay at home and be with family and friends.”
Logan also touched on the upcoming races in the US, saying:
“I think Austin and Vegas went pretty good last year, so let’s see.”
There are four Grands Prix before then, though, with visits to the Netherlands, Italy, Azerbaijan and Singapore in the weeks ahead.
Those races will offer ample opportunities for Sarge to make an impact, as anticipation builds towards Round 15 in Zandvoort later this month.
